MTU: Slider
Challenge and Concept
MTU Aero Engines aimed to showcase the next generation Turbofan at the 2019 Paris Air Show. The goal was to vividly and convincingly present technological innovations and contributions to more sustainable aviation. In workshops, we developed an "Augmented Reality" concept to make complex content interactive and tangible.
Our approach: a slider exhibit seamlessly integrated into the new exhibition CI, delivering MTU's messages through intuitive interaction.
Development
Based on the graphic design of the new exhibition stand (also created by us), a 3D light frame was created to symbolise the dynamism and innovation of the engine. We distilled complex information into five intuitive AR layers. This interface enabled easy yet profound interactivity.
Implementation
Thanks to VRPE’s seamless integration, all components worked perfectly together. Synchronised with the movements of the touchscreen, each AR layer revealed a new technological development. Perfectly calibrated mechanics, sensors, and content created an impressive user experience.
Visitors engaged deeply, discussed enthusiastically, and gained insights into the future of aviation. The slider effectively fostered interactions and support for the Turbofan.
