Challenge and Concept

Syntegon Technology, a market leader in processing and packaging, aimed to deliver an impressive presentation of two new systems – Bioprocessing and microBatch – at Achema 2024. The challenge was to account for the large size of the systems and partially confidential aspects while effectively and excitingly communicating the technical innovations.

Our solution: Interactive sliders in front of XL illustrated lightboxes, featuring precise motion design and smart transition animations. As one of the pioneers in slider technology – with our first slider developed for Eurojet in 2005 – we leveraged years of expertise to create the perfect experience.

Development

The concept blends technical precision with aesthetic storytelling and impressive animations:

• Motion Design: Animations illustrate the functionality and advantages of the systems in a detailed and comprehensible way.
• Transition Animations: Perspective shifts allow flexible visualization of the entire large-scale system while highlighting specific details.
• Sensors and Communication Electronics: High-quality technology ensures system stability and accuracy.
• Didactics and Concept: Close collaboration with Syntegon engineers ensured the accurate integration of all USPs and technical details. The second layer of the user interface allows easy access to detailed information for deeper engagement.

Implementation

The illustrated lightboxes and interactive sliders were developed entirely in-house – from concept and animation to programming and communication electronics. The microBatch slider was so successful that Syntegon purchased it after the event for ongoing use in internal and external presentations.

An innovative and precise showcase that positioned Syntegon as a technological leader at Achema 2024 and established itself as a sustainable communication tool for the future.
