Challenge and Concept

At the German Aerospace Congress 2023 in Hamburg, Novelis sought to showcase its commitment to sustainability and recycling within the aviation industry. The challenge: limited space. The goal was to create an immersive and interactive presentation that highlights Novelis' impressive ability to reintegrate up to 95% of aluminum waste into the production cycle.

Our solution: A walkable exhibit that brings Novelis’ circular economy to life through a clear, structured, and memorable design. Thanks to recycling symbol markings on the floor, visitors are invited to explore four production steps. At the heart of the concept and of the exhibit stands the "Recyclometer," symbolizing the brand's dedication to sustainability.

Development

The concept combines physical and digital interactivity:

• Each station represents a production step and visualizes the aluminum waste generated during the process.
• Digital panels on stretch monitors contextualize the exhibits and guide visitors through the journey.
• The Recyclometer at the center of the exhibit visualizes the recycling progress, achieving an impressive 95%.

Sustainability is also reflected in the materials used: OSB floor panels and recycled elements create an authentic atmosphere.

Implementation

On a compact 3x3 meter footprint, an interactive experience path was created to make Novelis’ complex processes accessible. Visitors begin at the Novelis video terminal, move through the production stations, and witness the impressive aluminum lifecycle at the Recyclometer.

A memorable and informative brand presentation that positions Novelis as a leading player in sustainable aviation for customers and decision-makers in politics and industry—innovative, future-oriented, and committed.
