Airbus: Product Launch Zephyr
Challenge and Concept
With the introduction of Zephyr, a High Altitude Pseudo-Satellite (HAPS), Airbus raised the curtain on a whole new market. The goal was to clearly and persuasively communicate the groundbreaking capabilities of Zephyr – enduring like a satellite, flexible like an aircraft – to key decision-makers.
Our task: to develop a communication strategy and design that perfectly reflected the ambition and innovation of the product.
Development
In workshops with the Zephyr team, we developed ideas for an architecture that would be striking on the outside and immersive on the inside, telling the story of Zephyr's capabilities. Visitors explore the HAPS in its operational context and understand its unique features, all while the confidential technology is reserved for a selected few. Combining fascination with functionality, the pavilion invites guests to an exclusive "summit above the clouds".
Implementation
Inside the pavilion, Zephyr is presented in a dark, perfectly lit environment – like a gemstone. The content is clearly structured, allowing all aspects to be explained from an aerial perspective. Adjacent to this, a bright "lab" offers a near-clinical space where Airbus specialists present technical details to select guests.
The result is a presentation that combines innovation and elegance, bringing the "Wings of Change" vision to life in a spectacular way – an inspiring experience for both Airbus and its visitors.
