Supplier Code of Conduct VRPE

Preamble

VRPE Team GmbH is an owner-managed company that is committed to a fair, cooperative, and responsible corporate culture. We expect our supplier partners to share and actively implement these values and principles in their collaboration with us. This includes, in particular, the three fundamental corporate values of VRPE that should be considered in the collaboration:

  • As an AUTHENTIC company, we work independently, owner-managed, and transparently

Integrity and Lawful Conduct

Our suppliers commit to acting with integrity and ethics in all their business relationships. They comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. Corruption, bribery, or other unfair business practices will not be tolerated. Our suppliers ensure that neither their employees nor third parties attempt to influence the decisions of our employees through undue benefits.

Human Rights and Working Conditions

Our suppliers respect internationally recognized human rights and create good working conditions for their employees. They prohibit all forms of discrimination and offer fair wages, reasonable working hours, and a safe and healthy workplace. Our suppliers recognize applicable labor laws and work constructively with their employees. Interaction is based on respect and fairness.

Occupational Health and Safety

All workplaces must comply with the occupational safety regulations of the respective country and be set up according to legal and recognized safety standards. The aim is to protect and continuously improve the physical and mental health of employees and third parties. Managers set an exemplary example in implementing occupational safety regulations, and employees are encouraged to actively participate in occupational safety.

Environmental Protection

Our suppliers commit to avoiding environmental pollution and conserving natural resources. They use environmentally friendly technologies and processes to continuously reduce their ecological footprint. This includes measures to prevent waste, reduce emissions, and increase energy efficiency.

Supplier Relationship

We strive for a long-term and trusting collaboration with our supplier partners. We expect them to share our values and principles and implement them in their own actions and behavior. This includes a careful selection process and the establishment of a broadly based pool of service providers.

Fundamentally, our employees are prohibited from requesting or accepting payments, loans, gifts, invitations to meals or events, or other favors from our business partners. Exceptions are voluntary services that are socially adequate within the business relationship and where it is ensured that the decisions of our employees are not influenced.

Invitations to events (e.g., congresses, trade fairs) or business meals where the employee is the guest of the business partner are permitted. We expect you as our business partners to respect and support this guideline.

Compliance and Consequences

Compliance with this code of conduct is the basis of our business relationship. Our suppliers are obligated to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and agreements. In case of violations, we reserve the right to impose contractual penalties or terminate the cooperation. Our managers and employees are instructed to report violations to prevent damage to the company.
